Erhem Universal Stabilizing Orthosis With Hinge Joints

The Erhem Universal Stabilizing Orthosis with Hinge Joints provides medial and lateral support to the elbow or knee. The side hinges allow adjustment of the range of flexion or extension motion in 30 increments.  The hinges allow for immobilization in extension or limitation of the range of flexion and extension motion.

• Suitable for the elbow or knee
• The brace is made of a Velcro-sensitive material that allows its circumference to be adjusted both at the front and the back
• This allows individual adjustment of the circumference of the orthosis to the dimensions of the limb.
• Removable metal side stays with adjustable hinges allow the range of motion to be adjusted in 30 degree increments.

Indications

• Stabilizing or immobilizing in extension or limitation of the range of flexion and extension motion of either the elbow or knee
• Dislocations, sprains or instability of the elbow or knee joint
• Limited range of motion in the elbow or knee joint due to increased muscle tone
• Condition after surgery requiring immobilization in a specific position with a gradual increase in the range of motion
